Lil: we can beat any team and lose any game

Right before the start of the EPICENTER XL support Natus Vinсere Ilya 'Lil' Iljuk talked with sybersport.ru about the rivals of the team at the Moscow tournament, spoke about the chances of "born to win" to get an invite to TI, and also told about the chances of appearing  Teсhies in the top of the teams in the nearest games.

About changes in the composition

Any conversations [after unsuccessful appearances of the team], probably, were always from my submission. I always did not like something: how we prepare, how we coordinate, how we play. Therefore, I always forced various kinds of conversations.
While mathematically we can get to The International by invitation - there is no sense to change something radically. Now we have arrived at EPICENTER, we will see how this will work here, and then we will decide what to do. After the situation with my kick I was a little bit offended by the whole world and therefore took steps towards my team and maybe, somewhere very harshly slowed progress. In due course, I calm down a little. Therefore, I am open to communication with the guys. At first, I was abstracted from this, now everything is different.

On the chances of getting on TI by direct invitation

I saw that someone was doing updated statistics, where NaVi was given 1% [to the top-8]. I do not know why, but okay. To get into the top 8, it's enough to get to the top 4 on "Epicenter" or on SuperMajor. This is in the current mete when everything changes. Yesterday came out a patch - the game is absolutely new, and all the chances are equal. Let's say someone was preparing, playing with Tuskar, and yesterday a patch came out, and Tuskar was "killed."

About his group on EPICENTER and the first opponent - OG

A group of death (laughs) ... No. This is for all the teams that are with us, there will be a group of death. But seriously, this group is like every other group. If you come to the tournament, then, probably, you come to win, and you do not care who you play against VP or against FlyToMoon. Let's see how it works out. There are no obvious outsiders. Everything is a matter of chance. We play tomorrow against OG. Let's see what they can and what we can. Because recently we have got better and better when we trained. We spend a lot of time discussing drafts and games. So it seems to me that we play better. In principle, we are able to beat absolutely any team as well as be beaten by anybody.
For OG, I did not really watch, only saw that they lost all the time. Then they won the qualification for Supermajor 3: 0, against Team Kinguin. I've seen only the result, I haven't watched the game. In general, now absolutely not meta OG. In the past year, they all broke up, the majors won, because meta was adjusted to their style, for each of them. Now the meta is not in OG, and it's hard for them to play. Coach replacement  ... Well, yes, you had six people, and now you have only five. From one side, it's good, from the other - not so good. Plus 7ckngMad, despite on his huge rating, was never an outstanding player. I can not say that he is a super-talented middle player and at least at the level of Resolut1on. Let's see how this will work.

On the release of 7.14 a day before EPICENTER and  Techies

All teams are in the same conditions. No one has an advantage. This is first. Second - the game becomes more spectacular. "Epicenter" will be watched by more people. Because everyone will be interested to see how this will work, how it will look, and everyone will wait for this. Therefore, from a game point of view, this is a steep move and a funny accident. And for the players ... we are a little out of the comfort zone. Absolutely everybody. Therefore, there is nothing special.
[should I expect Techies in tournaments soon?] It's unlikely. I think that nobody hadn't trained him. Except probably iceiceice. Maybe there will be some kind of agreement about the highway, but it's unlikely.
The first game NaVi on EPICENTER XL will take place tomorrow. Within the group stage of the CIS major, the team will be opposed by the OG team (16.00 Moscow time).

SumaiL: the history of the youngest champion

SumaiL is a professional player in Dota 2, the youngest champion of The International and certainly a very talented person. His short but successful path in Dota 2 is known to almost everyone, but let's still update the memory a little and remember what Sumail managed to achieve in 3 years of his career. Sumail Hassan was born on February 13, 1999, in Karachi, Pakistan. He started playing Dota when he was only eight years old. In 2012, the Sumail family moved to Rosemont, Illinois. It was then that SumaiL began playing in the North American Elite League. It took him very little time to occupy a high position in this league, recommending himself as one of the most promising young talents in North America. Sumail was so talented that UNiVeRsE literally made the EG organization pay attention to the young talent. His debut LAN tournament was Dota 2 League Season 5 in Las Vegas. Then the team performed poorly, and critics wondered if SumaiL deserved a place in such a team as E
